Official: Google now lets any single domain to dominate Search Results

Monday, August 23, 2010

Google used to show a maximum of two results from the same domain on single search result pages. Google has came up with a huge change in Search Engine Result Page rankings. Now you can see more than two results from a single domain on SERP’s now. Google has confirmed the same through official blogpost. I think that new search engine algorithm is going to help big brands. The small brands will need to put in lot of effort to domainte in search engines.

I think the Online Reputation Management of some of the brands which had some negative reviews will be much easier now.

Do you think that this new change will help users find relevant search results from single site or do we really want results from entirely different websites ?

What do you think about this intentional change of Google’s ranking algorithm ?
