I have been doing a research on the trends on browsers using a short URL I have created. I have spread the URL through social media and social networking website. The data from the study is really interesting. The short URL was created on July 11, 2011 and the same was promoted for 15 days. I got pretty good number of clicks and most of them where from Firefox and Chrome. As per the study people who use firefox and chrome in India and USA is on the rise eventhough the browser market leader is still Internet Explorer as per NetMarketShare reports. The study reveals the trend that will happen in other countries. Soon the major market share of browsers will be held by Firefox and Chrome. Internet Explorer is trying to hold their market share with new version release. Eventhough it is not that late it is a hard task for IE. Chrome has captured the market share so fastly and Firefox has improved its marketshare.
