Beauty of Colours

Saturday, July 2, 2011

The perception of beauty changes from person to person. The eye of a beholder decides what is beautiful and  what is not. Colour can have a lot of implications on beauty. The importance of colours comes to our mind when we see an old photograph that was taken in our parents time. Black & White photograph cannot bring the feel that a colour photograph brings in.

Here lets watch a black and white photograph

Now see the next image as colour photograph

When I was young people usually used black & white photos. Now I rarely see someone taking a black & white photo. Colour photos has brought life to photography as we can view photos with more orginal feeling.Have you wondered why day is white and night is black. White colour stands for purity, peace and harmony. During daytime everyone work for his/her living and at night everyone take rest. Black is a colour that stands for submission. You submit everything in the hands of God and rest peacefully on your bed during night. The beauty of night is that you go to bed dreaming about a beautiful tomorrow. Sometimes you may not be there to watch the tomorrow but you always hope to see the beautiful tomorrow.

There is lot of feeling that a colour image can bring. The same thing applies to all old photographs whether it is your parents wedding photo, your childhood photo or a photo of India before independence. Colour photographs have the ability to bring more feeling to visitors mind. Colour really adds to beauty.

Why colours add to life ? Colours really have the ability to make our mind gaze through different daily scenario.  We now have the technology to make old black & white photographs to colour but we can never add real colour to the photographs. Memories can only add real colour to any image whether it is black & white or colour image. The value of colours is known when we can recoginize each and every thing in a photograph starting from the shirt, saree or any other dress you used on the special occassion of taking that photograph.

Experience the change with latest gadgets

Saturday, June 25, 2011

I was dreaming of buying a smart phone during early early 2009. I choose a Blackberry Curve 8520 for advanced technology and better functionality. At that time there were only few people who used Blackbery. The device really changed my life at it gave me more professional influence. I got a priority everywhere even though I was in a mid level position. I was considered to be tech savy by all the colleagues and this inturn boosted my confidence. The gadget made my life easy as I could handle my emails through the smartphone. The full QWERTY keyboard is really easy to use. The gadget is social with SMS, MMS, Email and IM facilities.

The biggest asset that we can posses is the knowledge of latest gadget and owning the same. Below is the image of my new Samsung Netbook.

This blog is as part of ‘Change is Easy’ contest hosted by Dell Inspiron Laptop.

Why Facebook Feed Changes Can Hurt Brands and Online Marketers ?

Thursday, June 9, 2011

Hope some of you might have started to see a decline in the participation in your Facebook fan pages.  Have you thought the reason behind the decline ?.  It has been in existence for some months but people are just starting to notice the fact.  The same scenario applies to Facebook profile pages as well. You won’t be noticing updates from some of your close friends and some brands you adore. What made this changes?

A new change in Facebook algorithm have resulted in this change. Now comes the big question “How can you get rid of the new change ?”.  Facebook have started to think that you are not interested in the particular person or the band. The reason behind this is low interaction between the person or low visit to the brand’s page.

What do you need to do to get rid of this ?. On your ” News Feed” home page, click the “Most Recent” title on the right of the News Feed, then click on the drop down arrow beside it to show the drop-down menu and select “Edit Options.” Click on “Show Posts From” and change the setting to “All Of Your Friends and Pages.”  Xtreme Cage Wars MMA has created a Facebook Event to make users aware about the new update. It is highly important that you make the above change else you will be loosing a lot of updates from your close friends on Facebook.

Businesses that rely of Facebook fan pages should take the above change seriously and should find ways to inform their fans about the new Facebook news feed change.

Google +1 - Will Google +1 affect Google SERP’s ?

Tuesday, June 7, 2011

Google has launched its social media system the Google +1. The biggest question now is will it affect Google SERP ?. I do strongly believe that Google +1 is going to be a strong signal to Google that people do love some content while people don’t love some other content. The next question would be will the introduction of Google +1 going to kill SEO ? There have been numerous myths that SEO is dead. I do say Google +1 is never going to kill SEO but it is really going to help search engine optimisation as it is going to promote quality website have good content. We all know content is the king and content has now become a strong factor for search engines to realise which website is good and which website is bad. Websites that have regular content updation is going to have a high importance in the eyes of Google and other search engines.

Why do website need to start using Google +1 ?

Google has officially announced the launch of Google +1 on their official website.  Many websites have already integrated the button. You can see that the button can already been seen on many tourism websites as well as hotel website. The Kovalam Beach Retreat  and Go Kerala websites has already made use of Google +1 button. We can see a lot more websites that will soon add this new social media feature.

Why do I strongly believe Google +1 is going to affect SERP’s ?

Google is already taking facebook likes as a ranking factor and they do want to change it with much authority signal. They do want their on technology to rank social media influence of a particular website. At intial stage the Google +1 signal won’t be a strong signal but when websites and users start to use this feature it is defenitely going to be a stronger factor. It is better that you do add the Google +1 at the earliest.
